Emir lauds Total for aiding varsity

The Emir of Fika and Chancellor of the University of Uyo Alhaji Mohammad Abali Idrisa yesterday commended the management of Total Petroleum Company for the provision of educational facilities in the University.

The Emir made the remark during a visit to the Company in Abuja. He said the Company has been working in partnership with educational institutions including the University of Uyo as well providing them technical support. He said the company has made efforts towards the improvement of learning in many institutions in Nigeria.

The Company recently constructed a 500 seat capacity lecture theatre in the University of Uyo .

The Head of District in Abuja of the company Charles Ngoka, disclosed that there was joint partnership between the University and the company.
