Expert decries brain-drain in medical schools
Speaking during an interview with National Daily in Ogbomoshe, Ogunleye stressed the need for the Federal Government to discourage Nigerians from seeking medical attention from abroad.
It was shortly after induction of over 109 graduating medical doctors into medical profession at the University.
He attributed the noticeable “brain=drain” in the county to what he called, “ negative attitude of government at all levels to provision of up to date medical equipments and conducive environment.”
Ogunleye, who is also the Secretary of the College of Health Sciences wiith the university said with adequate provision of medical tools and establishment of more medical centres, the present level would be reduced, considerably.
